Simphiwe Ngema has been on Muvhango for over five years. Can you believe it? The actress, who plays Thuli on the popular SABC2 soapie, has sadly left the show, but viewers will still see her until March 2016.
Simphiwe recently spoke to Mo Flava on his Metro FM Morning Fix show, where she revealed that she had a great time working on the show.
“God has bigger plans for me and I felt it was the right time for me to leave and grow.”
It was reported that the producers of the show felt her character was “useless”.
She also told Mo about how unpredictable the industry is. “A producer can wake up one morning and decide they don’t want your character anymore and you have to have something to fall back on.”
We have a feeling that this is not the last time we will see her on our screens. Simphiwe really loves her acting.
