Following the shocking double exit of both of the hosts of SABC 1's music show, Live AMP, came major speculation about who would be taking over from the pair as hosts of the show...
However, news about who the Friday night music show's new presenters are has been leaked one week ahead of the SABC's scheduled announcement. After weeks of private auditions at the SABC, Metro FM DJ, DJ Speedsta and Pretoria based DJ, Lamiez Holworthy came out tops.
Born and raised in the Vaal, 26-year-old Lesego Nkaiseng began DJing in 2008, while he was still in high school and went on to win the 'So You Think You Can DJ' competition. He also has presenting experience, having presented a show on Soweto TV called 'Urban Explosion' in addition to being part of the Vuzu and V-Entertainment team back when they tried to make the channel's "big five" a thing.
Speedsta, who co-hosts Metro FM's "Absolute Hip Hop" alongside Loot Love every Saturday, recently made headlines after taking to social media to air his frustrations with rapper, Shane Eagle but the pair seem to have made up if this video posted by Speedsta is anything to go by:

Not much is known about Lamiez however, apart from what we could gather from a previous look at the rising star which revealed that she has an Indian mother and a black father and proudly boasts having a multi-racial, multi-cultural family.
She also once shared in an interview with Zkhiphani that her mother is her manager and it looks like mom's hard work has paid off.
