The reality show, which premiered on October 28, lived up to the expectations of many; in terms of the lifestyle portrayed. Faith made history as the first woman in Mzansi to have her own reality show on MTV Africa; airing in 43 countries.
Although the country is proud of the self-proclaimed Queen Twerk, another cast member stole the spotlight. One would think the show would trend for all the right reasons, however Faith's friend, Kim, was the topic of discussion. It looks like nothing interesting went down on the debut episode other than Kim's accent - seeing how Twitter trolls came after her English and grammar.
The debate about perfect English and accents in Mzansi has been ongoing for the longest time. In Kim's defence, many reiterate that it is not a measurement of intelligence, while others said that people should just stick to their mother tongues. Surprisingly, most of the trolling came from women.
Have Faith airs on MTV Africa channel 130 every Monday.
