She said, "Then one grows a little older, a little more cautious because the stakes are a little higher. There’s more to lose now, more to care about. Yet we forget that with caution, some of your life’s dreams die a little each day… A part of you, dies a little every day.

"Life is a journey. You grow. You evolve. You rediscover yourself. Your rediscover forgotten dreams and aspirations. You learn to love yourself anew as you come to understand that even you matter!! As a person before every other worldly title you may hold!!

Tomorrow is not guaranteed. So ask yourself this: When you count what is important in your life, how often do you count yourself?! ♥️

Mpho seems to have struck a cord with the people on Instagram. These were some of their reactions:

@stella.nkosi said, "U were slin looking good. I like the u❤️"

Mpho recently lost a very special person in her life, a person that was loved and adored by many.

She took to Instagram to pen a very heartfelt message to one of South Africa's most loved chefs, Lesego 'Les Da Chef' Semenya following his passing on 13 July.

She said, "Bathong Lesego. Where does one even start?! Let’s start with how you promised you would fight this thing😢Now we are here… 💔

"You’ve been nothing but amazing to me over the years... I don’t even remember how we met…I just know that you were this human who made cooking sound amazing and I felt like I needed to meet you, every time I would hear your voice on Aphelele’s radio show giving great advice on cooking… 2015 we eventually met and you made me fall I love with the pot!!! Something I never thought would happen. You never grew tired of my many questions on WhatsApp and for that, I thank you 🙏🏽

Lefu ga le tlwaelege (we never get used to death)… No matter how many times you walk this journey. The finality of it all just feels soooo… final!!! Rest easy gentle giant… You will be missed… 💔

Ever since this, Mpho has been expressing her gratitude to God for life.

One of her posts on Instagram read, "Lord if I have ever taken any part of my life, including the gift of life itself, for granted, I sincerely apologize…I acknowledge my blessings. How I am blessed to be alive and well. Blessed to have a roof over my head, food in my stomach, clothes on my body and the gift of family and friends. For that and more, I Thank you. I am grateful "

In other news, just in case you missed it. Veteran actor and mogul Shona Ferguson was laid to rest yesterday in an intimate ceremony attended by close family, friends and politicians.
