The Touch HD founder took to Twitter to share his thoughts on employment. He criticized people who celebrate salary increases when they can own their own companies
“You’re getting excited over a salary increase when there’s a gift in you to create 1000 jobs and pay others salaries. How big is your Faith? Some of us didn’t prepare to swim. We are here to walk on water if need be! How big is your Faith. Walk into your vision, your business,” he shared.
Sizwe felt that was out of line and told the serial entrepreneur exactly how he felt about people down playing being employed.
He followed up saying that TBO Touch’s status hinders people from even celebrating the joys of getting a salary increase.
Many Tweeps sided with Sizwe explaining that being an entrepreneur is not for everyone. @Tinyikooh summarized this perfectly:
“Shouldn’t the 1000 people he says we should aspire to employ have businesses of their own as well?! If we were all meant to be entrepreneurs, then nobody would work for anyone. Imagine a guy with a construction company building malls by himself😂 ae U dakiwe lo.”
