Umlilo was undoubtedly on the biggest songs in 2019, dominating the radio waves. Fans even named Umlilo, the song of the year 2019. DJ Zinhle, Rethabile and Mvzzle closed the show with a fiery performance the left the audience and viewers wanting more.
As if the performance was not already great enough, the appearance of a special surprise performer had the crowd going wild.

Rethabile was joined on stage by singer Winnie Khumalo, who is her mother. Mam' Winnie has been in the music industry since she was 15 and has worked with Chicco Twala, Brenda Fassie as her backing vocalist, Brothers of Peace (B.O.P), Bongo Maffin, Zonke Dikana and DJ Cleo to name a few.
Winnie is well known for her song, I just wanna live my life, which was nominated at the Channel O Music awards nominated for Best Dance Video and Best Afro Pop video”.
The sweet moment between the mother and daughter warmed fans hearts, with many fans now understanding where Rethabile gets her talent from.
