The thespian was born in Ulundi and grew up in Newlands West, Durban.
He comes from a family of 4 siblings who were brought up by his two amazing parents who instilled great values of becoming great individuals who ooze self-respect and integrity .
His family boasts of creatives who are dominating the entertainment industry.
His younger brother, Omega Mncube, is a household name on our Tv screens and plays the character of Phelelani on Uzalo. Wiseman was inspired by his older brother, Ntando Mncube, to become an actor. Ntando, who plays Bhikile (a man of war and strategy on Ifalakhe) paved the way for the younger Mncube brothers in the world of showbiz.

Wiseman graduated with a National Diploma in Drama from the Durban University of Technology in 2011.
He has had the pleasure of working with the heavyweights of theatre productions in Durban, including Joseph Shabalala - founder and leader of the world renowned Ladysmith Black Mambazo(LBM).
His play The Weeping Candle won the Best Production and Best Script Awards at Khaya Multi-Art Centre in KwaMashu during the isiGcawu Festival in November 2012.
He also gained more recognition for his works by winning three NAF (National Arts Festival) awards in Grahamstown in 2014. In 2015, the actor was appointed as one of the directors of the prestigious Musho Festival which showcases up-and-coming theatre stars annually in Durban.
