Amid the recent celeb death of Vinolia Mashego and Sipho Ngema coupled with the threat of the Coronavirus the last thing Umhlobo Wenene listeners expected was the death of popular sports presenter and producer Loyiso Sitsheke.
According to Times Live the station manager Phumzile Mnci is inconsolable.
“Where do I start? We received the news of Loyd’s passing this afternoon (on Wednesday afternoon)….. we are shocked. It is with great shock and sadness…., It hurts, these news hurt so much, it is devastating actually,”
Zizo Tshwete who worked with the presenter was also in pain when she posted her tribute to him on her Instagram page.

The most painful part is that he was on radio on Tuesday then gone the next day.
His death is indeed a huge blow and a great loss to the sport radio fraternity.
Fans are also distraught.
