Fans are confused about Black Coffee’s new music
Black Coffee’s newly released album Subconsciously, which is a 12-track masterpiece, has received its fair share of bouquets as well as brickbats.
His seventh studio album, it features a new and distinct sound but still has those deep house elements which make Black Coffee the King he is today.
Fans of Black Coffee’s songs have been questioning why the DJ has decided to switch up his sound to appeal to that of American and British tastes.
Before the album Subconsciously was released, Black Coffee had added nine songs from his album on iTunes. In a matter of no time, it had reached a mind boggling 100 million streams.

DJ and philanthropist Black Coffee gave away R500 000 towards COVID-19 relief funds to help fight the virus.
This year, the DJ has partnered with HyperionDev institution to give out bursaries worth R3.5 million to the less fortunate students.
Black Coffee spends downtime in Wakanda
After separating from his wife and putting a much-anticipated tour on hold due to COVID-19, the DJ Black Coffee said that he was grateful for the time off in Wakanda as it gave him a break. He was able to sit down and think over his life as well as spend some quality time with his family.
Last year, on Instagram he said, “It's really a blessing to be home and realize what I went through last year, I know I am a winner and I’m using this time to work on me. I am quarantining with my son. It is a blessing that I am spending time with him and now everything is real.”
Black Coffee takes a dig at a fan
The DJ black Coffee raked up some dust on social media again recently after a picture of from his recent vacation that he posted was scrutinized by fans.
Black Coffee rocked a navy-blue hoodie from Amiri and one tweep dug deep to find out how much the hoodie is worth and like Cassper said, batho baphela mo lifeng, (people are living in life).
The fan even published the price tag of the hoodie.

Black Coffee even got candid about why he stopped wearing an arm brace when he was younger, "When I was young after the car accident I used to wear one and being a kid it was hard as kids can be mean so I decided to stop wearing it especially in public.
