Thembisile ‘Thembi’ Seete was born on 25 March 1977 in Soweto and grew up in Sebokeng, Vale and Hillborough. 

Not much is known about Thembi Seete's parents apart from the fact that her mother died in March 2021 due to a brain tumour.
