Another SA production has been forced to switch off its lights and cameras, after an actress has tested positive for Covid-19. According to Daily Sun sources a Rythm City actress, whose name has not yet been revealed, has tested positive for Covid-19.
The actress was apparently already self-isolating. Just recently it was announced that Muvhango will temporarily shut production, after a partner of one of its actors tested positive for Covid19.
This is the 4th show to halt production. The source who spoke to the publication said, "We found out on Tuesday about her test". A source told the publication that they will be on a break for two weeks.
"We were told the cast and crew would shoot enough episodes until we return to work. We will be off for two weeks." The seriousness of the situation apparently forced production to end late on Tuesday, to make sure that they do more work, as they are going on break.
The publicist of the show Tumi Mohlala said they are waiting for the results of the crew and cast members, who were in close contact with the actress who also went for testing "We are waiting for results. Until then our studios will be disinfected and sanitized.
The actress refused to comment on the matter when the paper reached out for a comment.
