Anele Mdoda and ZAlebs have a love-hate relationship. This is a well documented fact which stemmed from the 2020 incident in which the publication had incorrectly used her image in an article about Anele Mda. Since then, Mdoda threatened legal actions and in return ZAlebs not only admittedly bought her flowers and gifts. But also offered a public and still available apology.
But it seems that Mdoda has forgotten nor has she forgiven at all. This is as while she is on vacation with her “squad” including Trevor Noah, Khaya Dlanga, Xolisa Dyeshana and Sizwe Dhlomo. Mdoda seemed to have skimmed some articles from the site which did not make her happy as she tweeted randomly:
“Zalebs forgets that they were crying tears sending flowers and gifts so I don’t sue them for purposefully using my picture in an Anele Mda story for clicks.They forget.They forget I uncovered the site that spews hate about black celebs is owned by a white women in LA. They forget.”

However, Anele Mdoda is only catching smoke because another tweep, Nubian Stan have suggested that Mdoda must be having chest pains after seeing Kelly Rowland's family picture. Nubian Stan continued to take a jab at Mdoda for allegedly having an absent father for his son, Alakhe Mdoda.
