Drama unfolds outside the Clermont Icebolethu mortuary between families ahead of Mampintsha's funeral today. Reportedly, Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha's famalies are already at loggerheads because Mampintsha's mom, Zamanguni Gumede has been denied to see her son's body.
Families are already clashes way ahead of Big Nuz member Mampintsha's funeral that will take place on Friday. Reportedly, the families are already fighting as Mampintsha's mother Zamanguni Gumede's family from KwaMashu in the North of Durban were picketing outside the Clermont Icebolethu mortuary, waiting for Babes Wodumo's family.
Sihle Mavuso from the IOL has shared a video on Twitter where the Kwamashu family were recorded picketing outside the Clermont Icebolethu mortuary while awaiting babes Woduo's family who were there to collect Mampintsha's body.

What can be heard from the videos from the outraged and disgruntled women are questions of "what did she do to you" and "she only wants to see her son". The women can also be heard throwing swear words at Babes Wodumo's father who is a Pastor, "you are a dirty pastor"
Babes Wodumo's family the Simelane's have received quite a serious backlash for denying access Zamanguni Gumede to see the body of her son. Outraged tweeps have criticized the Simelane family for being unreasonable and unrealistic for this kind of gatekeeping.

However, people can also be reminded that the relationship between Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha's mother, Zamanguni Gumede have always been toxic from the get go. The two have never gotten along even with Mampintsha alive. It woud seem impossible for them to start getting along now, after such a toxic relationship and years of turmoil, emotional abuse and great deal of hatred between Babes Wodumo and Mampintsha's mother, Zamanguni Gumede.
Mampintsha's memorial service will be held on the 29th December, 2022 at the ECC EThekwini Community Church and his funeral on the 30th December, 2022 at the International Convention Centre, Durban.
