The drama between DJ Black Coffee and Enhle Mbali has escalated as the internationally acclaimed musician is now been accused of abusing the actress at her 33rd birthday party last week.
According to Daily Sun, the actress has now filed for a protection order with the courts this week after the musician hand-slapped her in full view of everyone at her birthday party last week.
The actress also added in the protection order application that this wasn’t the first time her ex-husband laid his hand on her, as he’s also abused her in 2014.
“Nathi has hit me before in 2014 and I saw the same look on his face. He’s scaring me as he is becoming irrational. I do have a scratch on my hand from the incident. I’ve had to change my locks as he would come in anytime even when I was dressed inappropriately and have to leave.”
Mbali’s protection order reads as follows: “Two incidents happened this weekend, riday and Sunday. On the 5th of March he drove into our home and asked to have a conversation that I agreed to. He was polite until we were alone.
Nathi asked me why I was throwing a dinner without his permission. I then asked why I needed his permisiion, and he said because it’s his house. I then told him it’s our home and am puzzled, he then threatened to call the cops to shut it down. He was at this point shouting…and the guests that had already arrived where watching.”
The actress explained the Sunday incident which reads as follows: “he asked me why I had my hand on the door. I asked if he was serious. He started raising his voice. I asked him to stop and he hit my hand and pushed me. He continued shouting this was his house. I asked him to stop fighting till he left the premises.”
The former couple celebrated their birthdays days apart this month! DJ Black Coffee turned 45 yesterday and Enhle Mbali turned 33 last week.
The actress threw a lavish all-white-birthday party on the weekend and wore a stunning white dress that matched her white Porsche and décor. She hired Nono Events who were also responsible for Letoya and Lebo’s traditional wedding and many ZAlebs who have made use of Nono Events. She also shared endless videos on her Instagram stories and posted several images from her glamorous 33rd birthday party.
