This was probably one of the best award shows of the year.

The second annual Black Twitter Awards went down last night and were hosted by internet star Inno Matijane.

To say the award show was hilarious and entertaining would be an understatement! On Thursday evening, South Africans joined in on the Twitter fun to enjoy yet another outstanding Black Twitter Awards ceremony.Β

We'd also like to add that Inno Matijane did a good job as this year's host. He's such a breath of fresh air from the many hosts we've become accustomed to when it comes to our many award ceremonies. Well done, Inno!

Also, it was quite interesting to see who managed to walk away with a Black Twitter Award. These are just some of the most well-deserved wins from last night.

The Funny Chef walked away with Vlogger of the Year award and she, without a doubt, deserves this accolade.

And, if you don't know who the Funny Chef is, we're sure you've seen how she and her girls won the Kupe Challenge a few weeks ago.

Social media sensation and influencer, Mihlali Ndamase walked away with the Skaba Hemisa award and it was definitely a well-deserved win for all of the clapbacks she's been dishing out lately.Β

Gosh, these awards were so spot on; no one had the biggest scandal this year than Malusi Gigaba. Plus, he literally ruined the word "imagine" for us all this year.

Yep, there's no arguing about this one, Barry will probably win this category for years to come.

Whoah! Now we all know how hectic this Twar was between these two. If you don't, let us jog your memory a bit, click right hereΒ for more information.

Apart from the winners, we were also quite impressed with all the guests that attended the award ceremony. Rami Chuene and Renate StuurmanΒ were not going to miss this for the world.

Rami even went to the after party which we're sure was just as lit as the actual ceremony.

And last, but not least we take our hats off to the founders of these awards. Thank you for such a great concept.
