Bonang seems to have closed the door of being a reality star after three successful seasons of the hit show.
The entrepreneur shared a while ago that working on the season was one of the worst working experiences she endured. She said one day her fans should remind her give out the details.
"Making Being Bonang Season 3 was one of the worst working experiences of my life! Glad it's ending...remind me to tell y'all why one day!" said the now deleted tweet.
Legend also tweeted a cryptic tweet that had many convinced it was directed at Bonang. However, the whole saga surrounding the theft allegations against Somizi Mhlongo, where he is accused by Hastings Moeng who claimed that the concept of Dinner Kwa Somizi's was his brainchild, and that Somizi had stolen it.
Somgaga admitted that Hastings approached him but declined the offer, and he further added that Legend Manqele, who is the executive producer of Dinner At Somizi's, contacted him to start a cooking show. He said that he originally wanted to start a YouTube channel but was contacted by Legend who said he should rather do a Television show.
"So I started falling in love with cooking. Then I started my own YouTube Channel. Then Legend called and says no don’t do a cooking show, we’re gonna do a TV show right. Legend came with an idea, I did not like it...I want something that speaks to me, that is me."
Pearl Thusi tried to dissect the e-mail and concluded that the e-mail was sent to Legend Manqele, therefore he should be blamed for intellectual property theft.
Legend's now deleted tweet, "the enemy of black, is black" has many thinking it was either directed at Bonang or the theft allegations, either way Bonang's response suggests that there is more to this than anybody can imagine.
