Media mogul Bonang “Queen B” Matheba has been living lavida loca in Lagos this past week looking all kinds of fly as rumors circulate online that she had a nose job. These speculations started after Bonang shared a snap on her Instagram with a very thin-looking English nose and Social Media users started comparing the star’s old images of her face with the new ones and we can sure confirm it is convincing.

But then again, having surgery is just another Thursday afternoon to most A-list stars and if she can afford to get the face she wants then she sure can have it, especially if it looks that good on her.

Local entertainment commentator Musa Khawula took to Twitter sharing the Queen B’s snap last night and suggesting that she had gotten a nose job. And Bonang, not being shy to stir the pot, instigated these allegations even harder when she uploaded an image with the knife emoji as her caption and we can’t help but receive that as a Bonang kind of confirmation.

Many of her fans and followers also noticed the slight but amazing change to the Queen’s face and started reacting online, mostly showing love. After all, you can’t help but love any and everything Bonang does.

Most ladies online were saying that if they could also afford to get anything done to their bodies they would rush to the opportunity, while many, especially men, criticized the presenter for being too fake and comparing her to her nemesis Pearl Thusi. Others chose to be oblivious about this and blamed Matheba’s new English nose on the greatness and magic of West African makeup.
This is not the first time that the presenter has been rumored to have had surgery. Sometime two years ago, Doro flexed her new chest all over Instagram and TikTok and again die-hard fans noticed that her chest had been slightly fuller than before, proving that she had her boobs done. And as many other celebrities have spoken out, once you go under the knife, you won’t go back. It seems to be as addictive as a good tattoo.

Although South Africa remains a conservative country where women rarely come out for doing the same good for their preferred bodies as their American and other African countries counterparts, there are a few celebrities who have come out to have gotten plastic surgery done.
A long list of these celebrities include the Queen of Blings Khanyi Mbau. The self-proclaimed sugar baby has had her skin lightened, a notable nose job, and a surgical operation that lifted her breasts. Another industry colleague who’s had work done and shared her journey for the public is model and TV personality Rosette Ncwane who has from day one been serving body goals online and users started wondering how she maintains her body even after baring kids. Rosette took Twitter on her journey and shared that she’s undergone liposuction for her tummy/waist and a lift for her breasts among other things.

Other honorary mentions to the list of celebrities that have gone under the knife and opened up about it include Uyanda Mbuli, Faith Nketsi, and the late Mshoza.
