Mzansi was up in arms when Busta 929 partied with teenagers, believed to be 14 years of age and there was a lot of alcohol and hubbly in sight. After issuing a statement explaining that they had picked the girlies up on their way home from a gig in Rooftop Mohlakeng, Mzansi poked major holes in his explanation.

For one, why did they decide to pick up under aged strangers at night then keep them in his home without informing their parents. Secondly, why were they not in their original clothes.

Busta attempted to answer most of these questions however failed dismally. He said on their way home they discovered talent and one of the girls, expressed eagerness to work with the producer.

He added that he, his friend, manager, girlfriend as well as the girls, went home to record music for 2 days but social media users continued to dig deeper for the truth. In his 'failed' attempt at damage control, Busta has released footage of he and one of the girls' recording music.

Judging from the clip, many agree that he missed the mark with this one. The man gave us a timeless hit with Umsebenzi Wethu, and this track is not quiet up to par.

The teenager who worked with Busta on the track revealed that it will be released on July 2 and a sneak peak video will be released on June 29.
Check out the snippet from the recording below:
What many are struggling to figure out is the fact that Busta says they were recording for two days in his home from 12 June. But the girl's post suggests that they just recorded the song this week. This makes things more puzzling than they already were.

In his statement issued by Public Eye Media, Busta only apologised for not contacting the girl's parents and informing them of their whereabouts. "The oversight on our part was to not ensure that they had informed their parents of their whereabouts at the time. For this, my team and I sincerely apologize.

He then explains why one of the teenagers were not clothed and wrapped in a towel, he says "...because ours is a home studio and we've been recording for over two days, one of the young women went to take a shower at some point. It is for this reason only that she can be seen wearing a towel in the video. I want to assure everybody that nothing sinister was at play here, and everybody who was present can attest to this."

Social media users weighed in on the Busta issue:

"So Busta heard this girl sing like this  on the first evening and still continued to Record her for a couple of days. Ya, neh," @Solphenduka commented.

"You can only keep somebody quiet for so long. There's gonna be disputes and when that little girl has grown up enough to actually understand everything, she will come out with the truth. And by the time that truth comes out she's probably gonna add some Robertson spices phezulu," @Mtashobakwezi said.

"The fact that Busta isn’t cancelled already is actually upsetting," @Shirleymvp said.
