But for now, the married couple are happy and still breathing. As such, they took part in the Valentine’s Day festivities like other happy couples who celebrate the holiday of love. However, as soon as the first video landed on social media, there were raised eyebrows as to the authenticity of their celebrations.
Did Gogo Maweni stage her Valentine’s Day surprise?
While many might have been waiting on Lerato Kganyago to conclude Valentine’s Day by sharing what her husband surprised her with this time around, it seems that Gogo Maweni wanted to enter the chat. This is as she wanted to showcase what her husband surprised her with.
As such, the personality shared a video of her husband allegedly writing out, “I love you,” with rose petals and leaves from the rose. Thereafter, the video cuts to Gogo Maweni walking out of what is assumed is their bedroom to a trail of stacks of money and roses which lead out to breakfast on their balcony.
But it did not take long for her followers to question the genuineness of the video and celebration. This is as it is assumed that the stacks of money might well be over R100k in total. But seeing as Gogo Maweni is the breadwinner in their relationship, the question was whether she staged the “surprise” and gave her husband the money and overall idea for the video.
The personality asserted that similar to the manner in which she has allegedly dealt with her alleged deadbeat baby daddies, Gogo Maweni uses traditional and spiritual means to get even. This is as she allegedly screenshots the images of her trolls, sends them to her PA to have them printed and then she begins to manifest whatever she feels is a fitting punishment for those that think they can say disparaging things about her.
Following the first video, it seems that her followers were readily able to believe the second video on their ongoing Valentine’s Day celebrations. This is as the second video did not feature the stacks of money. Instead, her husband led her back to the living room from the bedroom and had a special Valentine’s Day supper of sushi laid out for her.
Granted, it seemed like the sushi had already been eaten halfway. But her followers seemed more impressed with the humility of the second video as it seemed like this was something her husband could afford to do as it lacked the extravagance which is usually associated with Gogo Maweni and not her husband.
