Dineo Ranaka has a strong personality, and that sometimes gets her a lot of hate on social media. She may be one of the celebs with the most turbulent relationships with Mzansi, and now her name has come up top of a list of “rude” celebrities.
There was recently a conversation on Twitter in which a popular Twitter influencer asked people to mention the rudest celebrity in Mzansi. Many different names came up, including Cassper Nyovest, soccer star Andile Jali, DJ Cleo and AKA.

That was until someone suggested Dineo’s name, and a bunch of people flooded the comments to agree with his “nomination”. This is where it got hectic, as many of them went on to share the stories of the times they have met the radio personality, and had an interaction with her that was unpleasant, leaving a terrible taste in their mouths.
One fan said that she had once asked her guards to kick them out of a venue she was at, even though they had paid their entry fees.
Another one said they used to live in the same neighbourhood as Dineo, and knows for a fact that she gave her hairdresser a lot of hell, sometimes taking out her braids multiple times because it didn’t look the way she wanted, but it wasn’t the stylists fault that Dineo’s hairline was in a bad state at the time.

Of course, everyone who mentioned a celebrity had some sort of experience to back up why they are considered the rudest. For instance, there was a screenshot of a conversation between AKA and a fan on Twitter, in which the fan asked him for some money for his birthday, and AKA responded asking him whether he was mad.
Although to be fair, his question made a lot of sense. It takes a whole lot of audacity to hit up somebody you know and ask them for money, even though it is not an emergency or a dire situation you require help with. As one response pointed out, it was rather entitled to expect AKA to just give him money because he demanded to have some, and that’s a pretty lame reason to label him rude.

It may all boil down to a matter of differences in opinions. I mean, Dineo has a lot of fans who love and adore her, so she must be doing something right. Even so, some of these stories were really heartbreaking.
