As exciting as the pregnancy journey is for a lot of women, there are a lot of challenges that come with carrying your baby for 9 whole months. It is simply not a walk in the park and soon-to-be new mommy Lamiez Holworthy can attest to that.
Lamiez added humour to her unfavorable situation and opened up about the various changes her body is going through.
Lamiez says she had hoped women would be entirely honest about pregnancy and the journey as she is suffering right now.
"As funny as it is, there’s a lot of changes come with being pregnant, physically, mentally and emotionally. Throw in the hormones, the nausea, the abdominal pains and migraines and the only thing that makes it all worth it is feeling your baby kick. Nothing could’ve ever prepared me for this journey but it is one I am so grateful for. One I prayed for and even if it gets worse, it’ll all be worth it - my child will be worth it. To every expectant mom, block out the noise and enjoy every minute of it," she wrote on her Instagram.
Lamiez and her husband Khuli Chana are expecting their first baby together. She expressed gratitude over the love her unborn son is receiving from her tribe.
"Going to bed with a very grateful heart- not only am I surrounded by overwhelming love and support but my son? Our son? Our little guy is loved already and if I can be just half the mother that my mom @imeldak20 is to me,I would’ve won at this life thing."
Lamiez and Khuli made the announcement during their wedding anniversary surrounded by friends and family. They also shared their baby's gender.
"Ke Nna Lamiez Holworthy-Morule. Ngwetsi ya Bakwena ba ga Mogopa.Ke thedimogane e mmele o borethe, e e yareng e bapantswe le kgomo e e phale...Kwena e ntsho ya mogopa!! This next chapter in our lives? An answered prayer ka mohau wa Modimo Le Badimo Baka," she captioned the video.
Khuli Chana also expressed excitement over being a father again, "This is the happiest day of my life… Happy Anniversary Mme Morule… You are going to be an amazing Mom."
