Doja Cat’s father is the talented Dumisani Dlamini so she has some South African roots. Many people believe that since she carried her father’s surname, she has to not steer far away from her African roots and beliefs, hence the trolling.
For many years, Dumisani Dlamini has been trolled for not caring about his daughter. But recently, he revealed that he is in New York to bond with her.
Dumisani posted a video of Doja learning that he is a music producer as well. He captioned the video, “Tell me something, let me hear from you. Please, we love each and every comment.”
One negative comment said, “You ran away to the edge of the world and married 3 women had 30 children. Deborah was struggling to pay her rent with your OWN children. You aren’t fooling anyone.”
In a pervious interview Mo Flava on Metro FM, Dlamini said, “I have been looking for my daughter as well. You mustn’t forget these Americans. Americans will always want to have something to cause a stir, so that she stays in the media and is talked about around the world,” he said.
“I have tried to search for my baby and the company that runs her entertainment has been blocking me. They know that if I could get hold of her, maybe she will disappear from the picture … I know my daughter, wherever she is, is looking for me.”
“I am close to my kids, all of them. I love them and they love me,” he concluded
