The future of Metro FM breakfast duo Unathi Msengana and DJ Glen Lewis reportedly hangs in the balance amidst rumours that he's fed up with the 'Idols' judge's holier-than-thou attitude.
According to the Daily Sun, the only reason why Unathi and Glen are still co-presenting The Avenue breakfast show, is because his contract forces him to do so.
The DJ reportedly complained about working with Unathi as far back as 2012, apparently because he finds her condescending, but was told he was contractually bound to do the show until 2014.
But rumour has it that Glen and Unathi will part ways after this year's line-up reshuffle.
"He feels Unathi patronises him," a source told the publication about the legendary DJ's qualms, which are apparently not personal, but merely professional.
"Glen is not someone who has issues with people. He is a peaceful guy who minds his own business."
While an anonymous Metro FM producer confirmed Glen's displeasure with his current situation, saying: "The sad part is that Unathi won't have The Avenue show to herself. If Glen is out, it means she'll have to go somewhere else.
"But Glen feels Unathi antagonises everyone. He feels that she is rude to the listeners.
"And even the marketing team feels that Unathi is too much."
