When it was announced that South African award winning musician, Kelly Khumalo was set to appear on #BehindTheStory, many probably sat on the edges of their couches with massive anticipation because a Kelly Khumalo interview is always a treat.
Judging by the majority of the comments on Twitter, the excitement seemed to have quickly fizzled out as most of the viewers were left unimpressed with Kelly’s interview.
A few people even had some not so nice things to say about the host of the show, Pearl Thusi’s interviewing skills. Some felt that her approach to the interview was quite lenient hence a hard hitting one was expected.

A myriad of personal and invasive questions were put to Kelly, however she came across a tad evasive and resorted to including God in her defense. This move by the Qinisela hitmaker could be genuine, however most Tweeps simply could not accept her manner of reasoning.
Fans on social media also started to wonder if Kelly has actually forgiven the father of his first born child, Jub Jub. She hardly speaks of Jub Jub but last night, the viewers were treated to a sombre moment after revealing that she does not want her son to be closely associated with his father.
“I am willing to have my son hate me… You know how I feel where that human being(Jub Jub) is concerned.”
