The soccer fraternity has suffered another major loss following the death of Mamelodi Sundowns player Motjeka Madisha.

The soccer star apparently died in a car crash in the early hours of this morning in Johannesburg. Details surrounding his passing are still sketchy but his passing was confirmed by the South Africa Football players union.
"#RIP #MotjekaMadisha, we are heartbroken. The @Masandawana defender passed away in a car accident in Johannesburg, in the early hours of this morning. Our condolences to his family, friends, and football fraternity," wrote the union on Twitter.
News of the rising stars' passing has sent shockwaves across all social media platforms and messages of condolences are pouring in to his family and friends. His family has not released a statement as yet nor the football club however a screenshot of a WhatsApp conversation of apparently her sister confirming his death has gone viral on Twitter.
Madisha's passing follows the tragic loss of former Bafana Bafana and Sundowns soccer star Anele Ngcongca, who was laid to rest on Friday in Gugulethu, Cape Town.
His funeral was recently postponed after it was reported that his mom was not feeling well.
"We have to sadly postpone Anele Ngcongca Funeral as uMama is not well. She expressed that the funeral cannot continue without her. We made the decision that her health is important as a family and postponed the funeral," shared his family through social media.
The footie died in the early hours of Monday morning, 23 November 2020 after a tragic car accident. Another star who recently lost her life is Gee Six Five.
News of her passing was confirmed by Sbu Mpungose, who's also a magazine editor. "My beloved aunt, MumNcane who many of you know as #GeeSixFive is no more. She displayed leadership throughout her life, was the epitome of fearlessness & inspired many with her single #ObaniLababantu. Mthiya, Shandu kaNdaba, Sontshikazi," she wrote on Twitter
The musician died after having tested positive for Covid-19. Gee Six Five had been isolating at home but sadly she passed on.
"Mrs. Selepe passed away today in Durban where she had been self-isolating under the watch of her family after receiving a positive diagnosis for Covid-19 on Monday," confirmed her family in a statement.
Gee Six Five had just shot fame with her hit track Obani Lababantu which has been topping charts.
