Muvhango actor Tebatso Mashishi is in hot water for allegedly stealing his ex-girlfriend's possessions. According to Sunday World, Nanamhla Dalisile, his ex-girlfriend from Durban Gen, filed a theft complaint against him at the Douglasdale Police Station on Wednesday.

According to the actress, they broke up with the actor last year. Namahla is accusing him of stealing her laptop and smartphone.
She said Tebatso had come to her apartment to get his clothes after she accidentally packed them when she left his apartment. The actress allegedly contacted him to inform him he had packed his clothes by mistake, to find out that he had been looking for them.
“When I was unpacking my clothes from the suitcase, I realized that I had packed his clothes in it by mistake. I called him and told him that I had taken his clothes by mistake and that he should come and take them. He told me that he would come and take them because he too has been looking for them for a while.”
According to her, she gave him her location, and when he came in she was rushing to the gym and asked him to close the door after taking his clothes. Tebatso then allegedly stole her possessions.
“I told him to check the clothes in the wardrobe and just close the door before he could leave as I was rushing out to the gym. He agreed and I left him in there.”
According to the actress, when she came to her flat, her cellphone and laptop were missing, and when he called the actor, he hung up. She then filed a case of theft, but Tebatso claims that he didn't take his possessions because he wanted them, but because he wanted to teach her a lesson for dumping him.
“The case was later transferred to Fairland Police Station for investigation because my area falls under its jurisdiction. I know them because he needed them. He has a lot of money; he can afford them. He took them because he just wants to punish me for dumping him,” she said.
Tebatso recently released his own debut album titled A lot happened. Speaking to SowetanLIVE, he said he started his career as a musician before he ventured into acting.
“Funny enough, I started out as a musician. My life soon changed from music to acting but I’ve been doing music for the longest time," he said.

“[It was] only in 2019 that I decided to do things right by working with creditable producers and connects. I even started using my acting money to invest in my music. I do this because I know that acting gigs aren’t really guaranteed.”
