Nota Claims He Knew Sim Dope Before AKA

Nota is trending again, this time after going on record to claim that he knew Sim Dope way before AKA.

Nota claimed that he went to primary school with Sim Dope and explains how he got the scar on his face.

“Sim dope got that scar in primary school while climbing a tree with me. I. was climbing a tree with me and he climbed higher than me and he fell. At Radford house, a boutique primary school.

 

“Before Kiernan ever met sim dope, I was in primary school with SimDope. He went to get his stitches and after the second break, he was back in school. That’s sim dope.”

Nota says Andile Mpisane has nothing on Sim Dope.

 

“Sim dope had a soccer team at 16.  Today we talk about Andile Mpisane’s being chairmans in their 20s. Sim Dop was doing that while he was still in high school in Mpumalanga.”

Nota also spoke a bit about Sim Dope’s wealthy background.

“He was one of those privileged kids whose father had worked so hard at the upper epilogue of business. 

 

“He is the owner of the Lions. The first black owner of a rugby team. He was still the most humble person and that’s why Kiernan had to honour him.”

 

“Before AKA ever met #SimDope – I was in primary with Sim Dope.” 🫢

Sim Dope, real name Simphiwe Gumede spoke at AKA’s memorial right after Sizwe Dhlomo. Many people were surprised to find out that Sim Dope is a real person.

 

After all these years we all thought that Sim Dope was just a name that AKA created.

 

“Let me tell you how this ‘Sim Dope’ name came to be. So we get to grade 10 and I make the first team in rugby and it’s like a big thing for everyone. I was sitting there and he says to me, ‘Sim, now you’re a boet, bru, like your boet at school.So we laughed and he said, ‘But you can’t go on Saturday and just be Simphiwe. I mean, that’s not dangerous.’ So I said to him, ‘You’re the lover boy who writes love letters [so you give me a name].’ So he says, ‘From now on, you’re Sim Dope.’”

 

Last week AKA’s friend Yanga Chief called out Nota Baloyi for his allegations about the murder of rapper AKA.

Nota named a few people whom he claims should be questioned about what happened to AKA that fatal evening.

 

Yanga then put it on record that Nota was not welcomed at AKA’s home.
 
 “You’re not gonna push some narrative that AKA was some kind of fool who was betrayed by his friends just so you can feel better about being an out and out hater while he was still breathing!!! You are the enemy Msu*u!!! We don’t f*ck with you!! Bozo!!! Neither did FORBES!!!” said an angry Yanga.
