Pearl Thusi's "Unnecessary" Brag Gets Her Dragged Again

Pearl Thusi has faced the wrath of tweeps again, following a post that was not about her, all about her. This is after Mpho Popps, who has comedy special airing on Mzansi Magic, took to Instagram to share his elation at having two of his projects airing this weekend.

Mama Pantha went to comment on the post and instead of congratulating Mpho, Pearl detailed her own “nice-life” problems. The actress and model commented on the post writing about having to choose between attending one of two festivals, which were both showing a film she was in.

Tweeps thought the comment was unnecessary, and that the “Queen Sono” star should have congratulated and kept it moving, instead of making the post about her. Other tweeps have suggested that the comment was a marketing strategy between the two to get people to watch Mpho’s content this weekend. The mystery continues with the two opting to keep mum.
