Gospel star Malusi Mbokazi has taken to his social media accounts to ask for prayers following a hospitalization.
According to the statement, the singer started being ill after he hosted a live recording concert on 10 September. The recording was attended by fans and fellow industry colleagues including Thinah Zungu, Ayanda Ntanzi, Phindi P and Jumbo.
"However, whilst he was riding on the success of the night, Malusi experienced a sharp pain in the stomach in the early hours of the 14th of September and he was rushed to one of the Durban hospitals. He has subsequently diagnosed with Cholecystitis and was admitted to the hospital. He is presently undergoing medical attention," reads part of the statement.
According to the statement, Mbokazi will not be able to do performances until the 1st of October. Malusi has asked the public to keep him and his family in their prayers.
