Sello tells all men to man up

Veteran actor Sello Maake Ka-Ncube has called on the men of South Africa to make a difference in the quest to end the scourge of violence against women.

The former Generations and Scandal! star and gospel singer Solly Moholo joined a march to the Ga-Rankuwa Magistrates Court on Monday where the alleged murderer of schoolgirl Grace Moyo was due to appear.

Speaking outside the court Ka-Ncube told The Daily Sun, "I want my voice to be heard giving support to this family.

"My biggest wish is for men to stand up and reclaim their dignity. We're the ones who are supposed to protect women and children, not abuse them.

"In every rape and abuse case there is a man. We will organize a million-man march to stand up against abuse," he promised.
