The news of  Uzalo's actor Simphiwe Majola, being involved in a car accident spread like wildfire on social media recently. This follows after some Facebook user apparently, posted on a group that the TV star, has been involved in a car accident, which landed him in hospital.

Spreading fake news has become very common in SA and celebs are usually affected by this, while it is a crime to spread fake news it seems as if people are not scared to face the full might of the law.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Majozi refuted the claims and said, he is extremely disappointed because this is not the first incident where people spread fake news about him. He said some even impersonate him on social media and spread fake news.

"I was disappointed this week when I saw the Facebook post that I was involved in a car accident. This post was written by someone in some group and that person had a nerve to ask fans to pray. This was very disturbing because I had to explain to my friends and family who were in a state of shock,"he said

Can we please eradicate this culture of also killing our celebs when they are still alive because, death is a serious thing, guys!
