Sithelo Shozi has reportedly filed court papers against the father of her two kids, Andile Mpisane and his mother Shauwn Mkhize, alleging that they abducted their three-year-old daughter Florence. According to TimesLive, minister of Police Bheki Cele is also mentioned in the papers.

Sithelo Shozi is a mother of three kids, two of which she shares with Andile Mpisane. They welcomed their second daughter Coco Likuwe over a year ago. Sithelo alleges that the mother and son pair do not allow her to visit Florence 'baby Flo' and it has been 10 months.
Sithelo reportedly filed papers at the Johannesburg High Court last week stating that Andile and his mother took Flo last year and without her permission, relocated her to Johannesburg. In the papers she deems this act 'unlawful and unconstitutional.' Sithelo alleges that Shauwn Mkhize requested to see her grandchildren in March 2022, but only Coco came back. The reason for this is apparently because Florence was sick and MaMkhize wanted to take care of her at her La Lucia mansion.

In the affidavit, seen by TimesLive, Sithelo reportedly states: “For over ten months now, there has been no further communication [on her illness] … It’s clear that [Mpisane and Mkhize] had ulterior motives — which is to abduct [her]”.
“I would often have a WhatsApp video call, but I have since been blocked by the helper and have no access to the child at all.’
She also seeks to have her daughter returned home immediately and is not willing to have custody negotiations until that happens. “I cannot bring myself to negotiate a settlement concerning my child and her abductors.
“I would have been amenable to entertain any settlement negotiations with [Mpisane] if the child is returned home where she should be”.

Another factor in this case is that Sithelo mentioned police minister Bheki Cele as her “third respondent”.
Last year, Sithelo gained the support from thousands of people who signed her petition to have a restraining order against Andile Mpisane. "I have been abused physically and emotionally, and am constantly intimidated by The father of my children. While in the relationship I was beaten mercilessly and consistently. I did the best I could, and stayed silent, but now I feel that I have been through enough. I feel that I have been abused and pushed far enough by the father of my children.
"The father of my children beat me to a pulp while I was pregnant with our last child, and I had to wait 3 days to find out if my baby would survive. The last draw was when the father of the children started questioning the paternity of our last child - after everything that I silently withstood.
"My children are far too young to live with a mother who is being bullied, intimidated and still facing abuse. I am a human being too and this kind of abuse has gone on for too long. I want freedom and justice."
She also claimed that Andile still threatens her till today, "The father of my child still calls threatening to kill me. Even though I’ve moved out of our joint home with the children, he has managed to find out where we now live."
"I have filed for a protection order against the father of my children," she said, stating that this is the whole point of her petition.
"I have started this petition to plead for justice to prevail; for the protection order to be granted so that me and my children are safe. Whilst this will put me against a powerful, well connected and wealthy individual, I am also a person with rights and my children deserve a fighting chance," she added.
