The rules of the game detailed that the Housemates were to transport water from the mason jar to the jug with food colouring, one spoonful at a time but, because this is Big Brother, there was a twist. The Housemates were to fill the jugs as much as possible without staining the white paper towels or moving the mason jars. This was to be achieved all whist staying behind the white line and stepping over a wooden beam obstructing their path to victory.

The games were afoot with the Housemates running, leaping, and bounding to win the immunity that comes with the Head of House title. Though it seemed unclear who was leading the charge, it quickly became apparent who would not be winning with Gash1 being disqualified for stepping over the line, followed by all but one of the participating Housemates who were found to have a stain on their paper towel. The games concluded with Libo being the last eligible competitor standing and the automatic winner of the challenge. Themba was selected by Libo to be his deputy, granting him immunity from standing for eviction on Sunday.

The nomination sessions had the Housemates expressing in detail who they were nominating and why they are selecting them to stand this week. Alliances between fellow housemates were evidenced in the nominations made, leaving Thato as her housemate’s top pick, closely followed by Tulz, Venus, Gash1, and Mphowabadimo. Libo wielded his new-found veto power to save Tulz and instead opted that Nale face the chopping block, making the final list of possible evictees Thato, Nale, Venus, Gash1, and Mphowabadimo.

Last week Nthabii got evicted and speaking to SowetanLIVE she said, “I’m actually not sad that I got evicted, I’m very content at how far I got in the competition. Now that I am out of the house, my life can commence,” Nthabii said.

“I’m going to miss the private parties Biggie used to throw for us but more than anything I’m going to miss the bonds I formed with Themba, Mpho, Sis Tamara and Thato," said Nthabii.

Who will see their last week or who will stay to face another day in the Big Brother Mzansi house? Sunday’s 18h00 Live Eviction show on Mzansi Magic (DStv channel 161) will reveal to us who could win that R2-million prize or pack their bags and head back home.
