Brandy Announces December South Africa Tour, Promises ‘All White Soul’ Night

Brandy is set to return to South Africa this December as the headline star for the “All White Soul Sessions Concert Tour Experience,” bringing her signature R&B hits to Cape Town and Pretoria. The Grammy-winning vocalist—credited with more than 40 million records sold globally—told fans she “can’t wait” to reconnect with them after time apart.

Quick facts

  • Brandy will headline the “All White Soul Sessions Concert Tour Experience” in Cape Town and Pretoria this December.
  • The R&B icon has sold more than 40 million records worldwide and says she “can’t wait” to see her South African fans again.
  • Her comeback comes after the tour’s sold-out 2025 run, which featured Babyface.

Brandy’s music has defined multiple eras—she’s given listeners The Boy Is Mine, delivered the smooth pull of Come a Little Bit Closer, and turned self-love into a mantra with Almost Doesn’t Count. Now, she’s bringing that three-decade catalogue back to local stages for a series of shows designed to feel like a full-on celebration.

The singer has been named the lead performer for the 2026 All White Soul Sessions Concert Tour Experience, following last year’s sold-out edition. That installment featured R&B veteran Babyface lighting up local venues in a run presented through Remoakantse Holdings.

Fans will have three opportunities to see Brandy live: on 14 December at Grand Arena in Cape Town, then on 17 and 18 December at SunBet Arena in Pretoria. With the tour already proven to move fast, organizers are urging concertgoers to get tickets early.

Why this return matters

Brandy first broke through as a teenager with her multi-platinum self-titled debut, and more than 30 years later she remains one of R&B’s most influential voices. Her catalog includes charting staples like Have You Ever?, Full Moon, Baby, and Never Say Never, and in 2025 she reignited classic magic by reuniting with Monica for the sold-out North American The Boy Is Mine tour.

For Brandy, the South African date isn’t just another stop—it’s personal. She shared that she’s been away longer than she’d like and is eager to reconnect with the people who have supported her over the years.

“I’m so excited to be coming back to South Africa. It’s been a while, and I can’t wait to see everyone again. The love I’ve always received from my South African fans means so much to me, and I’m looking forward to sharing some really special moments with you. We’re bringing an incredible show, and I promise it’s going to be a night to remember. I can’t wait to see you all in December,” she said.

Remoakantse Holdings managing director Thabiso “Skeelo” Mogashwa said the team is determined to build on the momentum of last year’s success. After the strong turnout for the sold-out All White Soul Sessions Concert Tour Experience with Babyface, the organizers decided the next run needed an equally standout artist.

“After the incredible response to last year’s sold-out All White Soul Sessions Concert Tour Experience with Babyface, we knew we had to return with something just as special. Bringing Brandy to South Africa is a proud moment for us, and we’re committed to delivering another world-class production that celebrates the very best of R&B. We’ve pulled out all the stops to create an unforgettable experience for our audiences in Cape Town and Pretoria. We encourage fans to secure their tickets early because, if last year is anything to go by, this year’s shows are expected to sell out quickly,” he said.

Brandy addresses viral concern

Brandy has also been in the spotlight recently after pictures of the singer went viral, sparking online concern about her well-being. Instead of letting speculation run, she responded directly to the conversation via an Instagram post.

In the message, Brandy reflected on how quickly people form opinions based on appearance and how much longer it can take to understand what someone has lived through. She urged others to be kinder, emphasizing that everyone carries a story that can’t be seen at a glance.

“I’ve learned that it takes only a moment to form an opinion about someone’s appearance, and a lifetime to understand what they’ve lived through.”

“So may we become gentler with one another. Not because everyone is fragile, but because everyone is carrying a story we cannot see.

Our words have weight. Our judgments have weight. Our kindness does too.”
