Londie London Says She Felt Alone Through Both Pregnancies Despite Marriage

Celebrities

Reality TV personality and musician Londie London has opened up about the emotional strain she says she faced while expecting and raising her children, sharing that she felt alone throughout both pregnancies.

The star, who is a mother to her son Uminathi and daughter Bomikazi, described how moments that should have felt joyful instead carried weightful memories. In a candid reflection on motherhood, she said the loneliness she experienced played a major role in shaping her journey.

Quick facts

  • Londie London says her children’s father was absent during both pregnancies.
  • She claims she attended her medical appointments and scans by herself.
  • She says he did not come to the hospital after either birth.
  • London also discussed raising her kids as a single parent and feeling that it wasn’t the future she imagined.
  • She was previously married to businessman Hlubi Nkosi, with their relationship ending in 2022.

London said she feels “blessed” to have her children, but emphasized that getting to where she is required a lot more than people might realize. She also made clear that, in her experience, there was never a sense of support from the baby daddy during the pregnancy period.

“I’m blessed to have my kids, but man, it took a lot to get here. I was alone in both pregnancies. I’ve never experienced baby daddy being there,” she said.

She went on to explain that she handled everything related to her care without accompaniment, including checkups and scans. The musician added that her account of his absence continued after delivery, describing a pattern she says repeated for both children.

“Even with all my scans, I was alone. He never even came to the hospital after giving birth. Both pregnancies, not just one,” she shared.

Motherhood outside the script

London also reflected on the ongoing emotional challenges of parenting solo, saying the situation has been difficult in ways she never expected. She pointed out that her children’s resemblance to their father can make the experience even harder.

“It hasn’t been easy because they look like their dad. I never imagined myself to be a single parent,” she said.

In addition to talking about her present-day reality, she looked back on her earlier relationship and described her marriage as emotionally distant, saying affection was missing from their home life.

London was previously married to businessman Hlubi Nkosi before their relationship ended in 2022. Recalling their time together, she said the atmosphere felt cold—using a vivid comparison tied to the climate and the mood inside the house.

“There was no love, it was very cold, you know, Hillcrest is always cold, but at that house it was always minus 20 degrees,” she said.
