Egypt, Cape Verde and Senegal have all secured spots in the Round of 32 at the 2026 World Cup, adding to the growing list of African teams through to the knockout stage.
They are joined by South Africa, Morocco, Cote d’Ivoire and Ghana, completing the set of African representatives who have advanced to the next round.
Two other sides are still fighting for a place in the last 32, with Algeria and DR Congo both remaining in contention.

Algeria sit on three points and can book their place in the knockout stage if they produce a result tonight against Austria in their final group match.
