South African amapiano heavyweight Young Stunna is looking back on a career moment he won’t forget after delivering a standout set at the Ofentse Pitse concert series.

After the show, the singer went to social media to open up about why the night hit differently, calling it a reminder of why he performs and where he wants to keep taking his place in the music scene.

Quick facts

  • Young Stunna performed at the Ofentse Pitse concert series.
  • The audience was sold out on a Wednesday night.
  • He praised the show for helping reaffirm his purpose on stage and in the industry.
  • He also served as a creative director, including involvement in stage VFX and the overall concept.
  • His custom Puma outfit was personally designed as part of “The Blessed Collection” with Puma South Africa.
  • He thanked Ofentse Pitse, the full team, and supporters for showing up in large numbers.

Posting after the event, Young Stunna described the experience as deeply meaningful, writing that “God knows” his heart is still tied to the stage—especially because it was his first time doing this and he believes the performance “left a mark.” He added that he’s praying for more of these kinds of shows, saying they serve as a reminder of his drive and direction.

He also emphasized the scale of what went down, noting that the concert played to a packed crowd on a Wednesday, and that the night earned attention for its momentum, imaginative choices, and strong production. Notably, he wasn’t only front and center as a performer—he also took on a leadership role as a creative director.

Creative direction and stage visuals

Beyond his vocals, Young Stunna explained that he had a major hand in shaping the show’s visual identity. That included input on stage VFX and the broader creative direction, with the artist working closely alongside the production team to bring the performance world to life.

Fans quickly latched onto another standout detail: his custom Puma look. He said he personally designed the outfit as part of what he calls “The Blessed Collection,” an ongoing partnership with Puma South Africa.

In his post, Young Stunna revealed that he designed the “Puma 10F1” suit and then sent the concepts to a magician identified as @naoserati—adding that he did it within a week and calling the result “Geniuusssss.”

The one-of-one design spread fast online, with supporters praising how he blended fashion and music into a single story. Many highlighted that his influence is expanding beyond performing—moving clearly into design and creative storytelling as part of his artistic identity.

He closed out his reflections with gratitude, thanking Ofentse Pitse and the full team for putting the vision together, while also expressing appreciation to everyone who came out. “God bless everyone who came to the show,” he wrote, adding that they sold out on Wednesday and that it was “all you.”
