Nomuzi Mabena affectionately known by her stage name Moozlie to many Hip Hop heads and MTV and Vuzu channel viewers hosted an experience called Moozlie Mondays last night the 18th of April, at the Xception Lounge, a turn-up location in Daveyton, Ekurhuleni in celebration of a full decade in the entertainment industry.

Rapper and television presenter Moozlie invited many of her industry mates, family, friends, and some of her loyal followers who have formed a great part in the betterment of her career to gather for a good time in the hood.

She was supported by the likes of Supa Mega, AKA, Daveyton’s very own Young Stunna, Kwesta, one of her best friends and number one female DJ in the country DJ Zinhle, and bae Murdah Bongz who shared a DJ set. Other performances came from another one of the rapper’s best friends, songstress Thabsie, Hip Hop and Metro FM DJ, Ms. Cosmo, fellow Cashtime signee, Kid X, Rouge, Ma Ezee, Don Design, Mr. JazziQ and Pabi Cooper, and DJ duo, Tarryn and Clair, known as TxC with performances.

It was hosted by digital media personalities and close friends of Moozlie, Thabile “TTO” Masuku, and Mark Khoza, and saw many attendees of the celebration adorned in Moozlie Monday merch T-shirts in colours black with a picture of Moozlie, and white respectively. Moozlie shared in the Instagram stories that she highly suggests taking some of her favourite artists to the hood, a caption she wrote on a video of AKA performing at the event.

Castle Light which remains a friend of the rapper pulled through and sponsored with the drinks.

The Skhanda Queen, known to be a fashion guru came hard and did not disappoint with her looks for the event. She wore a classic pair of blue denim jeans with a long hair chinchilla fabric finishing on the legs at the bottom, rocked it with a silver pair of heels and styled the look with a white sheer bodysuit, tucked in, and had a cropped white bomber jacket cause the weather wasn’t the best on family day. She finished off the look with the winner, a dramatic long hair faux fur hat by Kyle Apparel, and in true Moozlie nature, it was accessorized along with a pair of white sunnies and arm accessories from friend DJ Zinhle’s brand, Era by Zinhle.
She also did a necessary outfit change and came out sizzling in a pink, black and white latex set. Torn out pants and a jacket she performed her latest single, Legit in. The artist also shared the stage with many of her friends that performed at the event including Kwestar, AKA, Rouge, and Pabi Cooper.

She took to Instagram today, sharing that the event was a success and giving gratitude to everyone that helped make it a success. The Instagram post read, “The Moozlie Monday way. Last night was such a huge success!! I am so grateful to everyone who came out and made it possible. May God bless each and every one of you abundantly.”
