We know our girl, Moozlie is one of the hottest rappers and when she's on the mic she kills it. Perhaps it was the crowd that was tough hence the cold reception.
In a clip which has been shared on social media, Moozlie can be seen grooving to her song, which in most performances would usually allow the crowd to follow suite, but this one missed the mark a bit.
The audience members showed absolutely no interest in her performance which opened for some negative criticism directed at her.
A user by the name of @TinahN_ shared the clip of Nomuzi and it opened the floor for some negative criticism. For a person who called herself the modern day Ma Brrr, Brenda Fassie, many expected her to bring the heat on stage.
"Moozlie should face it. She is just a pretty face that was chosen by MTV not the people. But we love that she keeps trying. Think should would go fucken far if she dropped all this and tried to be a high fashion model," a follower commented.
"They were probably amazed by her beauty," laughed another user.
"One thing about South Africans they cannot pretend
"A definition of “I could feel the crowd get bored with me, but I couldn’t stop” it’s her doing her job and getting her money. The applause is really just a bonus, I applaud her determination."
Moozlie slander has always been a thing on social media and the last time she received hate was when she was accused of streaming her own music. This after her recent album Spirit Of An OG surpassed 500K streams.
She got excited for this massive achievement because she reached this milestone 2 months after it's release. Trolls had to dampen her spirits though but she was not left discouraged.
"The energy on twitter can be so weird. Why ya’ll always just tryna be mad or mean?! You know having a twitter account doesn’t mean you know everything right?"
"The payola tweets are actually a huge compliment. It’s quite wild that you guys think lil ol’ independent me is on that level... During a pandemic? Hai that’s pretty OP," she clapped back.
