A familiar voice on Lesedi FM, DK is known as the sports presenter for radio shows such as ‘Buo Le Yona’ and ‘Reya Kubeletsa’.
Speaking to SunBuzz about the accolade, she said: “I am humbled by this achievement and I really appreciate the fact that Lesedi FM Listeners voted for me to win.
“They have shown once again that they believe and support our talent as presenters at the station.
“The award has inspired me to work harder. I’m now eyeing bigger things and want to be part of other awards.”
Other celebrities honoured at the event, recently held at the Wanderers Club in Sandton, included Sports Minister Fikile Mbalula, who received the Special Recognition Award, Minnie Dlamini, who was named the gsport Style Star, Woman of the Year Marlize Jordaan, and Mapaseka Makhanya, who was honoured as the Athlete of the Year.
