Music producer and DJ Prince Kaybee has recently become a winemaker. As a well-known DJ and a savvy businessman, he has now joined a list of celebrities involved in the wine-making industry, such as actor Thapelo Mokoena. He recently bought a stake in Tulbagh Western Cape at the Blue Craine Vineyards and will soon be creating a lasting legacy by releasing his wine named after his son, Milani.
The fetch your life hitmaker first hinted at this business venture a couple of weeks ago when he posted the branding cover of the product and the name of his wine on his social media accounts. Additionally, he also wrote down a quote in the caption which reads, “Where there’s music there’s life, and where there’s life there’s wine.”

This announcement was officialized by entertainment commentator Phil Mphela who took to Twitter last night to share the news. “BRANDS: Prince Kaybee buys a stake in the vineyard. Prince Kaybee went to the vineyard producing his wine to meet the team behind the harvesting of his wine, along with the packaging of his wine and a few video clips circulated on social media showing the DJ in action as a businessman. We also got to see a bottle of the wine product by Prince Kaybee - a beautiful packaged and branded shiraz bottle of 2020 with the quote from the musician, “where there’s music there’s life, and where there’s life there’s wine” but it was reported that he will also be producing other types of wines including a pinot noir rose of 2022.
The popular DJ and producer who came into the music scene in 2015 after winning the SABC music competition reality TV show for upcoming and aspiring DJs 1’s and 2’s has been an entrepreneur for a while now. He runs Prince Kaybee Holdings which is a logistics company consisting of a number of trucks he uses for deliveries and hiring.

The musician has once offered employment opportunities to the youth of South Africa on Twitter under his company and online users are also hoping he does the same with his wine brand.
Social Media users have shown great support for the star and reiterated that it is possible for a black child. One Tweep shared, “Massive congratulations on buying a stake in a vineyard in Tulbagh western cape at the blue Crain vineyard. We are hoping for a mouthwatering wine. Big up.” Another one wrote, “I stan Prince Kaybee for laying the foundation for his son “Milani” by naming his wine brand after him”Another popular Twitter user by the name of Shaun Keyz wrote, “I hope Prince Kaybee's wine will become a huge success, seeing black people win makes me happy.” He added, “Imagine when the son grows up and realizes that there's a wine produced by Prince Kaybee, which is named after Milani.”
