This morning, South Africans has woken up to the shocking news about the passing of Mantfombi Dlamini, Princess of eSwatini, Queen of the Zulu. This comes just after a month since the passing of her husband and the Great Zulu King, Zwelithini. According to reports, the Queen passed away on Thursday evening.
Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi issued a statement confirming this.
“It is with the deepest shock and distress that the Royal Family announces the unexpected passing Her Majesty Queen Shiyiwe Mantfombi Dlamini-Zulu, the regent of the Zulu Nation,” he continued. “This has taken us by surprise and left us utterly bereft.
