Gqom queen Babes Wodumo took to Instagram to celebrate her husband award-winning musician Mampintsha today. Today is Mamphitsha’s birthday.

The new mom wrote a lengthy heartwarming post to celebrate her man. She said they have had their fair share of challenges and always overcame them.
She wrote: “If I were to start la esisuka khona kungashona ilanga (where we are from then the sun would set). Mashimane we have had our challenges left right and center but hlezi sinqoba (we always win). Engakusho (what I would say is) I wouldn’t ask for any partner beside you. Ukuvezile when a man commits to change kubanjalo the promise you have made.”
She said Mampintsha is a very supportive husband and a great father to their baby boy.

The pair was recently blessed with their first baby. Babes shared the exciting news on Instagram with a picture captioned:“Unkulunkulu emuhle njalo our beautiful blessing is finally here, inhlanhla yethu.!! #spontshi usefikile.”
They also have their highly anticipated reality TV show called Uthando Lodumo coming to Showmax at the end of this month.
According to Showmax’s press release, MultiChoice Channel Director Nomsa Philiso said the show will focus on the couple overcoming their challenges.
“Babes and Mampintsha’s relationship has not been a fairy tale romance, they’ve had serious issues as a couple, yet have chosen to remain together. The show focuses on how they have overcome their challenges, working through them with their families.”
Their wedding special is also available on Showmax, speaking to MacG on Podcast and Chill about how they first met babes said they met about 10 years ago.
“I met Mampintsha when I was still a video vixen. I was 16/17 years old. He’d always call me to check up on me and I ended up catching feelings. We will be surprising you guys soon - our wedding special will be on Showmax,” she said.
