Is Babes Wodumo Thirst Trapping Already?

Bongekile “Babes Wodumo” Simelane-Maphumulo experienced a number of great losses between December 2022 and January 2023. First, it was the surprising untimely death of her husband and Kwaito legend Mandla “Mampintsha” Maphumulo Shimora. This was after he suffered a stroke and never recovered after landing in the hospital.

Thereafter, it was the news that Mampintsha’s mother Zamanguni Gumede would then also lose her life in January 2023 after a brief illness. At the time, it seemed that Babes was not dealing with the loss as it was reported that she was missing gigs. A fact which was explained by that statement was that Babes had suffered yet another loss in the family.

With the number of relatives and loved ones that have been dropping dead around her, one would think that Babes was in mourning, But from her latest post, it seems that maybe she is doing just fine. More than doing just fine, it seems that Babes is already back at honouring her bookings and showcasing why she is considered one of the most beautiful Gqom artists in the country.
