Here's how the stars celebrate their fathers

Father's Day 2022 saw celebrities celebrating their fathers, and also giving praise to some of themselves as outstanding fathers. Some decided to tip their hats to fathers they know personally and give a special shout-out to fathers who have since departed the earth.

Some celebrities have taken to social media to pay homage to their fathers and father figures in their lives. We take a look at some of the most heartfelt messages shared by some of these celebrities.

Cassper Nyovest

Cassper's baby mama Thobeka Majozi has taken to social media to pay some special tribute to her baby daddy. "Happy Father’s Day to my sons superman. Thank you for making parenthood so soft and easy for me. We love and appreciate you forever," she wrote.

Cassper thanked her for this and said, "Thank you Mama Ka Boy. Thank you for making me a father. The best feeling In the world. Gave me a new purpose."

Together they have a son Khotso who is named after Cassper's late brother.

Jub Jub

Uyajola 9/9 presenter Jub Jub honoured his father with a sweet post, praising him for being the best father out there. He too is a father to young Christian Khumalo who he has with Kelly Khumalo.

Minnie Dlamini

Minnie Dlamini celebrates her father once again on his special day. She sent a shout out to her grandfather's from both her parents and her older brother, "It’s one thing to be blessed with the best dad I could ever ask for, it’s another thing entirely, to have that example from my grandfathers all the way to my older brother. My Mbova ozala uBaba, Grandpa Dan ozala uMa & my big brother @mapreezy," she wrote.

Minnie also sent a special shout out to other good father's out there, "Happy Father’s Day to all the fathers who step up and commit to raising their children, We are because of you."

Nay Maps

Celebrating his late father, actor Nay Maps reminisced about the one thing his father did with and that was enjoy a good dessert. He said to keep his memory alive, he would make a delicious malva pudding and enjoy with his family.

"Every year on Father’s Day I’m reminded of the beautiful memory my Dad left behind. His favourite thing to do was to dig into a good Malva pudding with us, his family. This is why I make sure to keep his tradition going by doing the same. @defysa thank you for giving me the privilege of keeping my Dad’s memory alive through beautiful times in our @defysa kitchen!"
