The two most celebrated media personalities took to social media and showed the world how they are definitely not beefing.
Reminiscing about the good old days, Minnie shared a throw back video of her, Bonang and Sizwe Dhlomo during their Live days. She took it back to when she and her friends would share a TV watching Generations but impatiently waiting for Live Amp to start. "I was hardly ever at res but this time I was feeling dejected."
Minnie shared how her University days were compromised because she would go out partying and not being the overachiever that she was. But what caught her attention was the TV ad on Live Amp looking for a presenter to replace Tbo Touch.

"As LIVE was about to begin, a “Call-To-Action” came on screen. @mzansi_fosho and LIVE were looking for a new presenter to replace @iamtbotouch (who was moving on to take radio by storm). They were going all over the country and “it could be you” I remember the ad said.
Feeling as though the message was for her, Minnie took her shot and auditioned. Little did she know, that would be the beginning of her career.
"I got excited, I felt like this was my shot and I was going to take it. So naturally, since I was feeling a bit better, I watched the episode with GenSoc then got dressed and went out. A few friends that night asked me if I had seen the ad and if I was going to try out. There was a spark in me I hadn’t seen in months and I knew I had to try…"
Minnie hinted that her audition story needed it's own post. However, as she marked 12 years since debuting on Live TV, she spoke of all the good memories they made.
"Today 12 years ago I got the call that changed my life forever. I had won the Live Presenter Search, I remember that feeling as if it were yesterday."
She saw how Bonang and Sizwe were killing it on screen so she had to step up and be the best in her game. "@bonang_m @sizwedhlomo were consummate professionals and I knew that I needed to work extra hard to be worthy of being on that LIVE stage with them."
She spoke about the multiple tasks she had to perform while interning on LIVE and explained it was not an easy task.
"It was tedious!!! However I got to watch, study, learn and interpret my findings into my own style. This has been a crazy 12 years and I wouldn’t change it for the world. Thank you Mzansi for making my dreams come true and allowing me to grace your screens all these years.
