
Lebohang Morake, aka Lebo M is a legend in South Africa’s entertainment scene. The 57-year-old musician, producer, composer, and arranger has been in the showbiz for over 25 years now and is one of the well-known names both in South Africa and Hollywood.
The award-winning star’s career and rise to stardom is quite intriguing, but so is his personal life. Lebo M has been in numerous interesting relationships throughout his life. He has been married four times-twice to the same woman, engaged once, and sired eight children, but unfortunately one of his children passed away.
Lebo M has a reality show called Coming Home that is aired on Show Max, which gives viewers a glimpse at his daily life as a musician as well as a family man. If you have been curious to know who Lebo M’s children are, then here they all are.

Zakiya
The first of Lebo M’s children is a daughter called Zakiya Naledi Morake who was born from his marriage with his first wife Viveca Gipson.
Zakiya celebrates her birthday every 11th of September but her age is currently unknown.
Zakiya lives in the United States but frequently visits her family in South Africa. Like the rest of her family, Zakiya also makes a few appearances on Coming Home.
Nthabiseng
The second of Lebo M’s children is also a daughter called Nthabiseng Morake who was also born during Lebo M’s first marriage to Viveca.
Nthabiseng lives with her older sister Zakiya in the US and she also makes a few appearances in Coming Home.
Refilwe
Refilwe Morake, also known as Refi, is Lebo M’s third daughter and first child with his second wife- Nandi.
Like her father, Refilwe is also a musician and has been singing since she was fourteen years old. Besides starring in her father’s reality show, Refi also dabbles as a vocalist, vocal producer and songwriter.
She recently toured and performed in Europe with her father in the Hans Zimmer Live concert.
Tshepiso
The first born son and the fourth of Lebo M’s children is called Tshepiso Morake. Tshepiso is Refilwe’s full brother as they were both born to the same mother- Nandi.
Tshepiso is married to a woman called Ayanda and together they have a son called King. Since their relationship has never been approved by Lebo M, the two lovebirds decided to wed secretly at Home Affairs in 2021.
Lebo M considers Ayanda to be a gold digger and has refused to acknowledge her as his son’s wife, this has resulted in friction between Lebo and his oldest son.
Thembalethu
Thembalethu Morake was Lebo M’s fifth child who was born during his marriage with Nandi and was full siblings with Refilwe and Thsepiso.
The late Thembalethu passed on when he was only 14 months old after drowning in their family swimming pool in their Dainfern home. The tragic incident occurred when the child was left under the care of a nanny while Nandi was attending a funeral and Lebo M was conducting auditions.
In 2021, Lebo M revealed that the autopsy results of his late son indicated that he had been molested first before being drowned. Thembalethu would have turned 20 years old in 2022.
Letti
Nine-year-old Letti is the sixth of Lebo M’s children. She is Lebo M and his third wife’s daughter Angela.
Letti has half-siblings from both her mother and father’s side. From her mother’s side, she has a brother called Mthunzi and a sister called Ketso. Together with her mother and half-siblings, Letti appears on the family reality show- Coming Home.
Lulo
The youngest of Lebo M’s children is a five-year-old girl called Lulo who was born to Lebo M’s ex-fiance Zoey during their brief engagement which unfortunately did not end up at the altar.
Lulo also appears in Coming Home alongside her father and step-siblings.

Lebo M’s stepchildren
In addition to Lebo M’s seven biological children, he also has two stepchildren through his third wife- Angela, from her past relationship.
He enjoys a very close relationship with his stepson– Mthunzi and stepdaughter Ketso. Ketso is a music prodigy and loves to play the piano with her step-dad.
