Maps Maponyane recently posted what seemed like an innocuous tweet, however, it did more harm than good as it sparked dating rumours between him and Boity.
A couple of days ago, Maps posted a picture of Boity and according to the caption, it is understood that the Ba Kae hitmaker was feeling under the weather as Maps wished her a speedy recovery.
In the caption, Maps wrote: ''This sick patient is recovering real quick Get better homie @Boity.''
When he referred to Boity as his ''Homie'', many tweeps assumed that the two might be in a romantic relationship as Maps used to refer to his ex-girlfriend, Nomzamo Mbatha as his ''Buddy'' during the course of their relationship.

It is worth noting that Maps and Boity have been mum on the rumours.
Rumours of celebrity hookups have been on the rise, a few weeks ago, Thuso Mbedu and DJ Sbu were spotted enjoying some downtime in Hollywood. Although they didn't post pictures of each other on Instagram, DJ Sbu could be heard laughing away in the background in one of Thuso's videos.
Through her manager, Thuso Mbedu has since rubbished the speculations that she and DJ Sbu are in a romantic relationship. Her manager was quoted as saying:'' Thuso is not dating DJ Sbu. Thuso was in LA since January 2019. They went jet skiing together on her last day there."
