The two socialites won international awards at the Africa Choice Awards in Nigeria. Mohale Motaung took home the Male Personality of the year award which he was contesting with Oros Mampofu and other African personalities from Nigeria and Ghana.
“Y’all need to wake up because I was awarded with a male personality of the year INTERNATIONAL award in Nigeria last night !!!!! A special thank you to everyone that voted. A super thank you to the @africachoiceawards team and my amazing management team @allinn_management for always pushing me! SOUTH AFRICA, we brought this one home,” he gushed.
Phupho's fashion game got him an award for Fashion Stylist Of The Year. The stylist was featured on Real Housewives Of Durban because he is Ayanda Ncwane's younger brother. He also worked on several projects on magazines as creative director and he said, "Just woke up to this. Thank you so much to you guys, we brought it home. Thank you to each and everyone who voted."
Sharing a screenshot of an article written about them for winning awards, Phupho told Mohale that he is not against the idea of them taking their babies out for lunch.
Mohale responded by saying, "international award winners taking their international awards on a date? Yes," he agreed.
Do you think this is a good idea or will it spark romance rumours between the two?
Not opposing this idea because he could not be less bothered is Somizi Mhlongo who has his eyes set on yet another prize.

Mohale had people thinking he has found another lover after he posted similar images of them together on vacation. He posted a picture of him in a bathtub, sipping a glass of wine. Then another social media user, Dr Tshepo, posted pictures of himself in a tub too similar to Mohale’s to be a coincidence, with a glass identical to that of Mohale.
Somizi too had sparked romance rumours several times with people who turned out to be his friends.

We might not see Phupho in RHOD anymore because his sister Ayanda quit the show as it allegedly disrespected Sfiso Ncwane's legacy.
"I have built my brand and my brand is so big and high for me to be just associated with the show," she told the publication. “I recently saw a headline that only associated me with the Real Housewives of Durban, and I got annoyed because I have worked so hard building a brand of being a music executive.
"So for me to be associated with something so small whereas I have worked so hard did not sit well with me, and I decided that the show is not for me as I don’t want to be reduced to just being a housewife, while I have worked so hard for everything that I have,” she revealed.
