The veteran actor died days after he had dared a battle against South African Rapper Cassper Nyovest. The Daily Sun published deleted Facebook posts from Patrick Shai’s son Kopano, who criticized his own father for criticizing Cassper Nyovest in a message.

“Before I pass away, I want to make sure that I’ve defeated you so that they can record this is the man who defeated Caster or Costa or whatever your f*cking name is on my tombstone… Come you son of a b***h.” He sad to Casper.

Patrick Shai’s son Kopano Shai is a South African actor who has featured as Arabie in an SABC2 drama known as Hola Mpinji. He is also a DJ and a radio presenter who is very popular. Kopano was very embarrassed by the message his father sent to Cassper Nyovest.

The actor took to social media to express his concern for that message. “You may have seen the videos that have been going around about my dad…I understand the impact that it has on him as a brand and equally on myself as an establishing brand.

His actions of carelessness and selfishness have put my family and me in a compromising position,” said Kopano. He commented a few days before his father was found dead after committing suicide.

Sechaba Shai

Patricks Shai’s son Sechaba is the youngest after Kopano Shai. The 37-year-old opened up to having battled drug addiction for 17 years. The veteran’s son paid tribute to his late father and mentioned how he is thankful to him for helping him overcome drug addiction.

Sechaba opened up that he had stayed one-year drug-free after his father’s death in honor of the support his father gave him to quit drugs.

Sechaba was 14 years when he practiced using the drug. The actor’s son later became an addict and wasted 17 years of his life living on the streets since he moved out of his home.

Patrick Shai’s son mentioned that despite his situation, his father always wanted the best for him. He pointed out that his parents did everything to help him live a clean life.

They spent a lot of money to take him to various rehabilitation centers in an attempt to get him clean. Sechaba promised to live a drug-free life in honor of his late father.
